Derby to take Svento on trial

Derby - Billy DaviesSlavia Prague midfielder Dusan Svento will travel to Derby County in the hope of earning a contract.

The Slovakian international could be available for around £1.35million and has twelve months remaining on his existing contract.

“I will go there for a few days,” Svento told Sport. “And it is not that I am going there to sign a contract.

“I have to show my abilities on the pitch, nevertheless it is not a regular trial.

“I am going to undergo some negotiations, but the details are only at the stage of being solved.

“I also have to have a look at the stadium, the facilities and to learn everything around the club. We will see how it turns out.”

Slavia representative Tomas Rosen confirmed: “Yes, we have been in very serious discussions with an English club and things have moved forward.

“Honestly, there are more clubs who are interested.

“The sum which we demand should certainly be higher than €1million (£670,000). Nothing is closed yet, though.”

He is good and fast as flash. I think, that his speed and control of ball even in his full sprint are his most important attributes. in czech league was overwhelming. Also was declared as second best foreigner of league (1st was Edin Dzeko).
